Solebury School's location in Bucks County, PA enables us to visit many of the attractions of the Northeast while enjoying the quiet, safety, and open space of a 140-acre rural campus. Bucks County is known for its historical heritage and outdoor activities, while the malls and multiplexes students that love are also within easy reach.
Our immediate home is the charming, historic New Hope, PA, set alongside the Delaware River. In 2018, Architectural Digest magazine named New Hope the prettiest town in Pennsylvania. In 2023, New Hope was listed as the Best in the State of Pennsylvania out of the 16 listed by PureWow. It was also named one of America's 50 Beautiful Small Towns We Want to Live In by House Beautiful magazine.
Directions
From New York:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Rt. 78 West. Follow 78 and take Exit 29 for Rt. 287 South towards Somerville. Keep left off the exit. Follow Rt. 287 to Exit 17 for Rt. 202 South - Somerville/Flemington. Stay on 202 South toward Flemington/Lambertville for about 25 miles. Cross the Delaware River Toll Bridge, and take the New Hope Exit. Turn left onto Rt. 32 North towards Easton. Take the second left onto Phillips Mill Rd. Solebury School entrance is 1.4 miles on the left.
From Philadelphia:
Take I-95 North to Exit 51, (New Hope). Turn left at stop sign. Continue straight and follow signs to Rt. 32 North, and turn left towards New Hope. Stay on 32 through New Hope, pass under the 202 overpass. Take second left onto Phillips Mill Road. Solebury School entrance is 1.4 miles on the left.
From Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike:
Take the Quakertown Exit, follow Rt. 313 East to Rt. 202 North in Doylestown. Follow 202 North to New Hope Exit onto Rt. 32 North. Pass under the 202 overpass and take the second left onto Phillips Mill Rd. Solebury School entrance is 1.4 miles on the left.
From PA Turnpike & West:
Take PA Turnpike East to Exit 343 -(Old Exit 27) -Willow Grove. Follow Rt. 611 North to Rt. 202 North. Follow 202 North towards New Hope. Take the last exit before the toll bridge to New Jersey and turn left onto Rt. 32 North. Pass under the 202 overpass and take the second left onto Phillips Mill Rd. Solebury School entrance is 1.4 miles on the left. If you come into the town of New Hope on Rt. 179 by mistake, turn left at the light onto Rt. 32 North, and follow directions to Phillips Mill Rd above.
Distance from the Airport and Train Stations:
We are approximately one hour from Philadelphia (PHL) and Newark (EWR) airports. The closest major train station is just 20 minutes away in Trenton, NJ, and hosts Amtrak, New York City's Metro North and Philadelphia's SEPTA lines.
